Rasmus Hojlund appears to have settled in well at Carrington despite his absence from the first-team’s training sessions.
A back injury has meant that the young Dane is training solely as he works his way to full fitness ahead of his official debut.
The issue has, sadly, kept him out of Manchester United’s opening fixtures of the campaign but fans are eagerly awaiting his first outing as a Red, whenever that may come.
He will lead the line for Erik ten Hag in the No.9 role, which means Marcus Rashford can return to his most comfortable position on the left flank.
Lindelof on Hojlund
Victor Lindelof was quizzed on the arrival of his new teammate and said (via Football Daily): “Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to see him that much because of the injury but off the pitch, he’s a very nice guy. [He] talks with the guys and everything so hopefully, he can be back in training with the squad soon.”
