Fiorentina chief provides Sofyan Amrabat transfer update

Fiorentina will not stand in Sofyan Amrabat’s way of a big transfer this summer.

Manchester United have been linked with Amrabat all summer.

And, with one week remaining in the transfer window, it remains to be seen if the Reds will make an official offer for the Morocco international.

Amrabat is also being linked with a move to Liverpool and it sounds like Fiorentina are ready to listen to offers.

Fiorentina chief Joe Barone has confirmed the Italian club will not stop Amrabat from leaving.

“We are always ready for the entires and exits,” Barone said, as per Labaro Viola. “If there’s someone who isn’t happy, we can satisfy him between now an the end of the transfer window.”

Amrabat is out of contract next summer, so this summer could be Fiorentina’s last chance to get a respectable fee.

After United’s first two games of the 2023/24 season, it’s clear that we need to sign another combative midfielder to play alongside Casemiro.

Furthermore, Amrabat did not feature for Fiorentina at the weekend when he was an unused substitute.
