Dean Henderson has been long-linked with a permanent exit from Manchester United, and he could finally get the move his heart desires.
As per Alan Nixon (reluctantnicko on Patreon), Crystal Palace are planning to open talks with the Red Devils over a deal for the wantaway goalkeeper.
United have reportedly made their Carrington graduate available on a loan-to-buy basis, which could suit the Eagles this summer.
Henderson has been named on the bench for the opening two games of the campaign but given Andre Onana’s arrival, he is unlikely to ever feature for United in the Premier League barring injuries or suspensions.
Henderson’s failed move to Forest
He spent last season on loan with Nottingham Forest and was expected to return to the City Ground, but their recent signing of USMNT international Matt Turner would’ve seen him likely utilised as a backup rather than the No.1.
The 26-year-old knows that consistent game time is crucial at this stage of his career and especially if he wants any chance of making the England squad again.
Hope he gets the best club for him
