Manchester United and Liverpool have approached Bayern Munich regarding the availability of Ryan Gravenberch, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Both clubs are looking to add another midfielder to their ranks after their Premier League season openers.
Liverpool have already acquired two new vibrant additions in the form of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai. However, the recent exits of James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Fabinho have left a gaping hole in Jurgen Klopp’s squad – and one that needs solving if the Merseyside outfit has any chance of competing this term.
Erik ten Hag sought Mason Mount to bolster his options in the middle of the park but remains determined to sign one more player in the position before the window closes.
United have ran out of money
Complications have arisen due to the lack of outgoings at Old Trafford; Donny van de Beek, Dean Henderson, Eric Bailly, Harry Maguire and more were all expected to complete moves in the past weeks to raise funds for new faces, but they’re now still at Carrington with uncertain futures ahead of them.
The Dutch boss is also believed to want another striker after signing Rasmus Hojlund at the beginning of August – but time is ticking and the money doesn’t seem to be there.
