Manchester United didn’t perform well in Monday night’s 1-0 win over Wolves, so it comes with little surprise that few of our players are in contention for the various team of the week selections.

Not a single United player made the BBC team of the week, however, WhoScored had room for one of our defenders.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka earned his spot after collecting a performance rating of 8.3/10, which made him the best right-back in the Premier League across the weekend.

The overall performance from the team was so bad that we can’t complain about not having more players included this week.

It was Wan-Bissaka’s across for Raphael Varane that provided the only goal to separate the two teams.

Despite the result going United’s way, WhoScored named two Wolves players in their team of the week: Matheus Nunes and Craig Dawson.

WhoScored team of the week (game week 1): Leno; Wan-Bissaka, Andersen, Dawson, Eptupinan; Bowen, Rodri, Gross, Nunes; Haaland, Isak.

Hopefully we see a better performance when we travel to Tottenham on Saturday.
