Manchester United have submitted their provisional squad numbers for the 2023/24 season to the Premier League.
It is important to note that there could be changes after the end of the transfer window on 1 September.
The club has yet to confirm which number Rasmus Hojlund will wear, so fans are being made wait for that to be announced (for whatever reason).
Alejandro Garnacho sticking with 49 is perhaps the biggest surprise, but we expect that to change after the transfer window closes when it will be clear which other numbers in the squad are vacant.
So, if buying shirts for your kids, it would be best to hold off on any Garnacho prints for another while. We could be wrong – but better safe than sorry!
The shirts we can be sure about include Martinez, Fernandes, Rashford, Mount, Eriksen, Casemiro and Onana.
