Manchester United and Nottingham Forest remain locked in talks over Dean Henderson.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs will continue negotiations this week despite Forest’s recent acquisition of USMNT goalkeeper Matt Turner from Arsenal.

The deal leaves Henderson’s potential role at the City Ground up in the air, and he’s made it clear he won’t settle for being a No.2.
Andre Onana’s transfer to United also confirmed the Englishman’s place in Erik ten Hag’s plans despite speculation that Henderson would be considered as the starting ‘keeper following David de Gea’s exit.
United outline loan demands
The Red Devils want to ensure they’ll receive a fee for their academy product so even if a loan is being considered, the terms must include a buy clause.
Henderson’s thigh injury that he sustained in January has stalled his exit, as it not only ended his season prematurely but ruled him out of United’s pre-season tour and fixtures.
