Rasmus Hojlund can’t wait to step out at Old Trafford for his Manchester United debut.
He may have to wait a while given his injury concern, which will keep him out of action until late August, but rest assured his time will come.
The 20-year-old will lead the line for Erik ten Hag as he looks to build on a promising first term in the dugout. This season also holds Champions League football for the Red Devils after their stint in the Europa League last term, giving the manager, fans and players even more to look forward to.
Hojlund has spoken to club media to reiterate his love for his boyhood team, whom he followed over in Denmark since he was a child – making his transfer that bit more special given his desire to make a mark on the 20-time English champions.
Hojlund speaks out
He told MUTV: “Ever since I was a young boy, my dream has been to play for United. Now, I see my dream become a reality.
“I’m excited to play under the lights at Old Trafford and show the fans what I can do,” Hojlund continued. “Thank you, everyone, for welcoming me to this great club and I can’t wait for us to work together.”
