Rasmus Hojlund was lapping up the cheers as he was unveiled to 75,000 Manchester United fans for the first time.
The forward will have to wait a few weeks for his debut though, as it was confirmed yesterday that Hojlund sustained an injury during his pre-season with Atalanta.
Still, the Old Trafford faithful were ecstatic to see their new frontman exit the tunnel ahead of yesterday’s friendly vs. RC Lens. Hojlund beamed as he stepped onto the pitch and took the time to walk around the turf, applauding fans as he did so.
He also took a quick snap in front of the iconic Stretford End – a picture that he’ll certainly treasure to mark the day he signed for his boyhood club.
