Sofyan Amrabat is reportedly willing to wait for Manchester United to kickstart their pursuit of him.
Erik ten Hag has identified the Moroccan as the final piece of his puzzle at Old Trafford this summer, after already revitalising three key positions across the pitch in the form of Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund.
Now, the manager is adamant about adding another midfielder to his ranks to further bolster his options for the campaign ahead, as the Red Devils prepare for their return to the Champions League.
Any new arrival is almost entirely dependent on outgoings though; Donny van de Beek and Fred are expected to leave the club before the window closes but there are currently no agreements in place to sanction their exits. The funds that United recuperate from the duo, or any other players, would then be put towards Amrabat.
Amrabat only wants United
Obviously, this may take some time given how long negotiations can take between teams – but that isn’t an issue for Amrabat. According to Ben Jacobs via GiveMeSport, the 26-year-old Fiorentina star is “prepared to wait” for his potential switch to United despite several other clubs showing interest in him.
