Manchester United have reportedly exchanged medical records with West Ham in an apparent push to sell Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay.

The duo are said to have been conducting long-distance medicals out in the USA following approval from the manager, according to The Express and journalist Alan Nixon (£).

Manchester United previously rejected a £20m bid for Maguire from West Ham, but it remains to be seen if the Hammers will make another offer. Reports stress that David Moyes wants the centre-back, but The Independent claims the Reds want £30 million at the very least.

On top of that, United want £40 million for McTominay’s signature.

The Reds know that West Ham have money sitting in the bank after selling Declan Rice for a whopping £105 million. Furthermore, they have at least £70m to spend on Maguire and McTominay.

Maguire lost the captain’s armband this summer, but it has been reported for some time that he is happy to fight for his place at Old Trafford next season.

Meanwhile, Gareth Southgate has stressed Maguire needs to make a decision if he wants to keep his place in the England team.

As far as United are concerned, Ten Hag needs to sell more players to fund more transfers and it is clear he wants to bring in Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.

  1. Please selling all players Maguire and MC Tommy £70 million is enough money , But me I don’t want Maguire to playing again Manchester united this season

  2. Simply don’t want either. Maquire is too slow, McTominay is overpriced and underwhelming (like United). Tim Steidten will do better for us for much less money. COYI

  3. Do you really think he’s going to be needed, when we’ll be having Ambarat, Casemiro, Martinez, Mainoo

  4. I don’t think I still need Maguire or Mac , Maguire too slow and sluggish to my liking

  5. I think both players will benefit from a move. Scott is an excellent footballer but does not fit the managers needs so he will not play much at UTD. Harry needs another club to prove his worth, Man Utd did not work out for him. I wish them both the best should a deal materialize
