Reports suggest former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could persuade one of Erik ten Hag’s targets to avoid a transfer to Old Trafford.
The Frenchman, now with Juventus, may find himself in a position where he can sting his former employees after the Serie A giants entered the race for Jean-Clair Todibo.
According to RMC Sport, Juventus are in contact with OGC Nice over the centre-back, with Pogba perfectly placed to talk his compatriot through life in Turin.
While some outlets suggest Pogba could influence Todibo decision, I don’t think that will be a problem for United because Erik ten Hag wouldn’t sign a player who doesn’t want to play for us. Every new recruit has made it very clear that they made the move for the right decision – not just to gain financially.
I mean, if Todibo is willing to listen to Pogba by snubbing a move to Old Trafford for Juventus, I think that would be a terrible move for his career. Furthermore maybe we should avoid players who are easily led by the likes of Pogba.
Reports suggest that Ten Hag is keen on the centre-back, who could come in as an upgrade for Harry Maguire.
