The Red Devils are yet to launch their opening bid for the 26-year-old as they are hoping to recuperate funds from the departures of Donny van de Beek and Fred, though the latter’s exit has been put on hold as Galatasaray consider other options.
Erik ten Hag is keen to welcome another midfielder through the doors at Carrington this summer after Mason Mount’s arrival in July. Now that the club are sorted on the goalkeeper and striker front, attention again switches to the centre of the park in a bid to further strengthen the manager’s options.
United set deadline for Amrabat deal
Corriere dello Sport has outlined United’s deadline of next week to try and get an agreement over the line, with Fiorentina demanding a fee of €30 million to oversee the exit of Amrabat.
