David Moyes will want to add to his West Ham squad this summer after losing Declan Rice.

The Hammers will be aiming to build on their Europa Conference League and you’d think the very least David Moyes deserves is the opportunity to sign his own targets.

The former Manchester United manager has put forward two targets he is intent on brining to West Ham, although it is suggested that the club’s recruitment team want to prioritise more long-term options.

According to The Independent, Moyes is intent on brining Harry Maguire and Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse to the London Stadium.

Miguel Delaney reports West Ham would be willing to do a deal for Maguire if they can get him for £20m.

United will push for £10m more than that.

The problem West Ham face is everyone knows they’ve got money to spend after selling Rice to Arsenal for £105m.

That is presumably one of the reasons United were so quick to reject West Ham’s initial bid for Maguire, which was believed to be worth £20m.
