Manchester United are ready to sell Harry Maguire.

West Ham had a bid rejected for the 30-year-old, but it was worth just £20m and that was never going to be entertained by Manchester United.

Football Insider went on to reveal on Monday (31 July) that the Irons were planning a second offer – but a deal was seen as difficult to strike due to Maguire’s salary.

However, a fresh report from Football Insider claims United are ready to part ways with the England international and will accept an offer from the highest bidder before the transfer window shuts.

Tottenham, Everton and Chelsea have all been linked with a move for Maguire this summer.

As far as West Ham are considered, I don’t think they will find a better centre-back than Maguire this summer. And he is a player that would suit David Moyes’ style.

Maguire currently earns £190,000-a-week at United but was recently stripped of the captaincy. It would seem that the writing is on the wall for the England international.

    1. a) need as much money as possible to further strengthen midfield.
      b) He’s worth more. For all his recent problems, he is an established England International and highly rated by Southgate.
If the ‘apply ‘ammers really want him, they’ll be back with better, less-insulting offer.
