Sturm Graz manager Christian Ilzer has admitted that Ramus Hojlund has not shortage in confidence, in a glowing review ahead of the stroker’s transfer from Atalanta to Manchester United.
Hojlund arrived in Manchester on Tuesday afternoon ahead of medical examinations, which we believe he started tonight.
The 20-year-old will sign a five-year contract and he’s fully expected to lead the line next season. We also hope that Marcus Rashford’s 30 goal spree last term is better shared out amongst the other attacking players in the team.
However, Graz manager Ilzer worked with Hojlund during his time at the Austrian club. He soon learned that the young goalscorer was a different level to everyone else.
There was something special about him.
“Hojlund has always been a self-confident boy,” Ilzer said, as quoted by the Mirror. “He even seems cocky if you don’t know him. He has flair, speed and an above-average footballing intelligence.”
United are expected to officially announce the arrival of Hojlund ahead of this weekend’s double header against Lens and Bilbao.
