Sheffield Wednesday have secured the signing of 22-year-old defender Di-Shon Bernard from Manchester United.
The Jamaica international was released by Manchester United earlier this summer. He joined the Reds from Chelsea’s academy as a 16-year-old, but now he will fight for a place in Sheffield Wednesday’s first team.
Bernard made one senior appearance for United and he spent time on loan with Salford City, Hull City and Portsmouth. That means Sheffield Wednesday have signed a player with more than enough first team experience under his belt.
We would like to wish Bernard the very best of luck at his new club.
