Manchester United take on Borussia Dortmund in the final stop of their pre-season tour of the United States on Monday.
With the 2023/2024 campaign just a fortnight away, the Red Devils are undergoing their final preparations as they look to build on a promising first term under Erik ten Hag’s tenure.
United have played five friendlies so far this summer, seeing out three wins and two losses – though it was a heavily-rotated and youthful line-up that faced League Two outfit Wrexham.
Now, it’s the Bundesliga giants that await Erik ten Hag and his men in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kick-off is at 2 am BST for English viewers so it’s either a late sleep or early start for those Reds wanting to tune in.
Dortmund’s summer
Dortmund are unbeaten in their pre-season so far but are yet to test themselves against a strong European side, let alone a heavyweight like United.
They suffered a considerable blow in the transfer window with Jude Bellingham’s early exit to Real Madrid – a deal that received widespread coverage from the beginning. The Germans have, however, bolstered their squad with arrivals such as Felix Nmecha and former United loanee, Marcel Sabitzer.
