Manchester United takeover: Developments expected next week

It has been a long time since there’s been an update in the takeover for Manchester United.

The two main bidders – Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Jim Ratcliffe – have made their final offers and everyone is waiting for the Glazer family to make their decision.

Sky Sports News reporter Kavah Solhekol explains that developments on the potential sale are expected next week when the Manchester United players return from the US after the pre-season tour.

Solhekol thinks there may be some clarification next week, which means we could hear something before the new season starts at home to Wolves.

Solhekol stresses that the takeover won’t happen in this transfer window, but nobody is expecting everything to be done by then with the Glazers delaying everything until now.

However, at some stage next season, we should have new owners.

The 1958 fan group featured on the BBC’S How To Buy A Football Club podcast this week and we recommend it. Granted you can ignore Simon Stone trying to play devil’s advocate with some Glazer-apologist nonsense.

Hopefully we will be Glazer free in the near future… but who will be next?

  1. Why can’t the Glazers see they are not cut out for soccer. They’ve taken a successful team and turned it into a disaster. Not a worthy trophy in years . Take the offer from either prospective owners and run like he’ll. You’ll never get that return on your initial investment. All comes down to your greedy nature . Just leave our club to others to bring back the glory. They can and will . Glazers definitely cannot.
