Fabrizio Romano suggests Manchester United are ready to attack Rasmus Hojlund deal

Manchester United conducted further negotiations with Rasmus Hojlund today.

In a fresh update from Fabrizio Romano, the Italian journalist claims Manchester United now feel they’ve reached a point in talks where they feel confident enough to attack the deal.

Romano adds that Hojlund, 20, has been clear in his desire to join United this summer. That is something that all of the biggest journalists have reiterated through the saga, even when there was suggestions that Paris Saint-German were preparing an offer.

United fans will want to see a total agreement soon because the new season is just around the corner. The first-team didn’t have a vocal point up front last season and we’ve missed one yet again throughout pre-season.

A young forward like Hojlund is going to need time to settle.

One interesting factor to consider is how we’re not getting any briefing from Italy to suggest Hojlund will be at Atalanta next season. They be already be planning for life without the young Dane.

United need a new centre-forward before the new season starts.
