Fred agreement with Galatasaray will prompt Manchester United to sign replacement

Fred has not travelled with the Manchester United squad to the US this summer most reports growing in the media over his future.

It won’t come as a surprise to anyone that Erik ten Hag is planning to move the Brazilian on this summer. The manager has already improved the squad by adding Mason Mount from Chelsea and Sofyan Amrabat at Fiorentina could be on his way too.

According to Sky Sports, Fred has agreed personal terms on a proposed move from United but a gap in valuation on a fee still exists.

While that is not ideal these situations usually sort themselves out.

Galatasaray will know they are not the only club interested in Fred, which is why they are trying to seal a deal before anyone club can make advances.

The report adds if a deal can be struck, it’s understood United are ready to move quickly on a replacement, with Amrabat believed to be the primary option.

Amrabat has one year left on his contract at Fiorentina.
