Anthony Elanga’s transfer to Nottingham Forest looks signed and sealed.
The winger had his medical in the Midlands today ahead of his £15 million move from Manchester United.
Elanga, 21, fell down the pecking order under Erik ten Hag last term and was granted just seven starts in all competitions.
With the manager keen to raise funds for his transfer budget, it came as no surprise that United were open to negotiating the sale of the Carrington graduate, as it’s the best case for all parties if he takes on a new venture and acquires more game time elsewhere.
A picture circulating on social media tonight suggests that his move to Forest is now completed, so fans of both sides can expect an official announcement on Tuesday.
