Sunday 23rd July
Another great day doing the ‘touristy’ stuff in New York.
I took a stroll up Central Park in the early morning and hired a bike to do one lap (6 miles) of the park
Then it was time for the Open Top Buses – first the ‘Downtown’ route, where our driver took out a parked car that was badly parked on a corner.
The Statue of Liberty cruise was next and finally the Uptown route, but I highly recommend the cruise. It was really good!
I walked miles and miles today before picking up my bag at the hotel before making my way to the airport for a long flight to Los Angeles, where I’m meeting up with some LA Reds and driving down to San Diego on Tuesday.
A really busy week awaits us:
- Sunday – New York
- Monday – Los Angeles
- Tuesday – San Diego
- Wednesday – Houston
- Thursday – Las Vegas (where I have four nights to chill a bit!)
