Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga has ruled out a summer move to Everton.

Many thought that Everton’s interest could lead to a deal that would suit all parties because of Elanga’s lack of first-team opportunities last season under Erik ten Hag.

The Sweden international made 26 appearances in all competitions for United last season – but he only started give Premier League games.

Elanga may be keen to get a move elsewhere, but he won’t be joining Everton due to concerns over Sean Dyche’s tactics.

According to the Daily Mail, Everton held direct talks with Elanga but the player has ruled out a move because he has fears over his suitability to Dyche’s tactics.

The 21-year-old has travelled to the United States with Ten Hag’s squad, so he’s expected to carry out pre-season preparations with the Reds.

Ten Hag needs to sell players to ensure he has enough money to sign a new centre-forward this summer.

Hopefully, Elanga can attract interest from more suited clubs.

At 21, Elanga should be eager to get regular first-team football and there’s only a few Premier League clubs that could give him those assurances.
