Charney Chukwuemeka has reacted to Mason Mount’s departure to Manchester United.
Chelsea confirmed earlier this month that Mount had decided to end his 18-year association with the club to complete a move to their Premier League rivals.
The England international made a £55 million switch to the Red Devils after being sought by Erik ten Hag as the perfect addition to bolster his midfield for the forthcoming season.
For the Stamford Bridge faithful, they were left feeling betrayed that the Cobham graduate had rejected contract proposals to push for a move, especially considering the fiery history between United and Chelsea.
Chukwuemeka was quizzed on the matter, which has been a major talking point of the summer transfer window, and responded: “It is what it is, man. Miss him.”
