Galatasaray plan to launch fresh bid for Manchester United midfielder

Galatasaray will reportedly submit an increased bid for Manchester United’s Fred.

The Turkish side initially proposed a fee of €5 million to try and test United’s resolve into overseeing Fred’s exit, however, it was swiftly rebutted.

Now, they plan to return with an improved offer and will try to use the fact that the Brazilian wants to leave Old Trafford to their advantage in negotiations, as per Aksam.

As well as that, Galatasaray are aware that the Red Devils are yet to receive any other bids for Fred, despite interest from fellow Premier League rivals Fulham. Their stance is seemingly that if Erik ten Hag is adamant about offloading the midfielder, United will to accept their approaches and cut their losses before the window closes.

Fred set for United exit

Ten Hag is keen to oversee the departures of several players in a bid to increase his transfer budget for the remainder of the summer.

For Fred, he knows that game time will be even more limited next season after Mason Mount’s arrival. A move away is certainly in his best interests.
