Mason Greenwood breaks an 18-month social media silence to announce the birth of his baby.
The Manchester United academy graduate, who is currently suspended by the club, has shared a photo announcing the happy news this afternoon.
Greenwood, 19, posted a black-and-white photo of three hands — his own, his girlfriend Harriet Robson, and the newborn — via Instagram.
The caption reads: ’11.07.23’, followed by a white heart emoji, which suggests that the baby was born on Tuesday.

Manchester United have yet to make a public decision on whether he will rejoin the first team. Greenwood was recently pictured training along with United teammate Anthony Elanga in Dubai.
On top of that, Greenwood has been linked with a move to Atalanta on a season-long loan, but his future remains uncertain.
Greenwood has made 129 appearances for United, scoring 35 goals, although it remains to be seen if he’ll ever wear the red shirt again.
