Erik ten Hag approves of Anthony Elanga sale

Erik ten Hag has seemingly been handed a boost to his summer transfer plans, with there being a real prospect of selling Anthony Elanga.

The Sweden international first broke into the United side in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s penultimate season and became a regular under Ralf Rangnick. But following Ten Hag’s arrival at Old Trafford, the attacker found his game time limited.

Elanga made just seven starts in all competitions last term and it wouldn’t surprise us if he moved on this summer.

For his own sake as well as ours.

According to The Mirror, Ten Hag is keen to continue the overhaul of his squad by selling Elanga to enhance his summer plans.

Everton are eyeing a move for the 21-year-old as Sean Dyche approves of the transfer.

Only time will tell if Everton have the right funds to buy Elanga.
