Manchester United and Atalanta keen to navigate deal for Rasmus Hojlund

Manchester United and Atalanta are keen on navigating a deal that sees Rasmus Hojlund become a Red this summer.

According to Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports (via Football Daily), the Red Devils class Hojlund as a priority target over the coming weeks and are actively working on his potential arrival to Carrington.

The two clubs must tackle the gap in their valuations of the Denmark international, however, there is belief on both sides that an agreement can be reached, with Hojlund keen to make the switch to the 20-time English champions.

United could use loans in Hojlund deal

Erik ten Hag is mulling over the prospect of sending Amad Diallo on loan to Atalanta in return, though the manager is waiting to see how the Ivorian performs in pre-season after his scintillating spell with Sunderland last term.

Currently, United are looking to finalise Andre Onana’s transfer over the coming days and then they will likely turn their attention fully towards the 20-year-old striker.
