Louis Saha advises Manchester United star to avoid transfer

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha believes Jadon Sancho can turn things around and has urged the club not to sell him yet.

United will get their pre-season underway when they lock horns with Leeds in Oslo on Wednesday evening.

Sancho will be one of the players trying to impress Erik ten Hag and his coaches, after leaving everyone feeling underwhelmed since his transfer from Borussia Dortmund.

There has been reports that United could opt to sell Sancho this summer – to make extra funds for Ten Hag’s transfer kitty. The manager will need to make a decision in the coming weeks if Sancho is part of his plans, or if he wants to allow Amad Diallo fight for a place with Antony on the right wing.

Saha makes it clear that he would like Sancho to remain at United. Speaking to GentingBet, as cited by the Manchester Evening News, the Frenchman said: “Jadon Sancho will take United up another level. He’s such an exciting prospect.

“He’s the type of player I really like because he’s able to create and score goals and he adds that bit of flare that is very hard to predict. So, it’s an amazing combination when you have players like [Bruno] Fernandes in and around him.

“Sancho is a dribbler, so he can really create the spaces for the strikers. I’m excited to see what kind of combination he can form with the likes of [Edinson] Cavani, [Marcus] Rashford, [Anthony] Martial and then [Mason] Greenwood, [Paul] Pogba and Fernandes.

“When you name those players, any defence will be in trouble.”
