Manchester United are monitoring Sofyan Amrabat very closely.
After the arrival of Mason Mount from Chelsea, it seems like a stretch to think United will make more additions to their midfield until other areas are sorted.
United need to sign a new goalkeeper and a striker. Anything else — like Sofyan Amrabat — should be consider as a potential bonus because the club has been interested in the Morocco international since Erik ten Hag’s appointment.
In a new update from German journalist Florian Plettenberg it has emerged United are monitoring Amrabat “very closely”. He adds that talks are not at an advanced stage but they have taken place.

At this stage, it’s not advanced but first
talks took place. #MUFC➡️ Understand, that it could become a hot topic later in this window.
He’s also on the list of FC Bayern. But nothing concrete at this stage. @SkySportDE… pic.twitter.com/oYayIB5DHq
