Hannibal Mejbri is back at Carrington and awaiting clarification on his future with Manchester United.
The 20-year-old spent the 2022/2023 campaign on loan with Birmingham City, gaining crucial first-team experience with the Championship side.
Now, Hannibal’s next steps are undetermined; he either stays at Old Trafford and earns his place in the matchday squad, departs on another loan spell or leaves permanently.
His contract is set to expire in 2024, though United have the option of extending it for a further year.
Borussia Dortmund have expressed their interest in signing the young Tunisian this summer but they are yet to submit a bid.
Until then, Hannibal is putting in the effort in training to ensure he ranks as high as possible in the manager’s estimations.

The club shared a video of him this afternoon firing home a shot on goal, after which he exclaimed: “Left [foot], right [foot] – it’s the same.”
