Fiorentina make Sofyan Amrabat decision amid Manchester United links

Fiorentina have decided to sell Sofyan Amrabat this summer after meeting with the midfielder’s entourage.

That is according to Italian outlet Firenze Viola and it is suggested the Serie A side want to secure a deal quickly to allow them ample time to find an adequate replacement.

Manchester United have held an interest in the Morocco international since the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and it is understood that Erik ten Hag knows a lot about him already.

A report from Sky Sports last week hinted that United were looking at Amrabat as a potential option to further bolster their midfield this summer, having already announced the signing of Mason Mount.

However, any further additions in the midfield department are likely too be from player sales.

Amrabat, 26, has one year remaining on his deal with Fiorentina and they now want a quick sale.
