Dean Henderson won’t feature on Manchester United pre-season tour

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is said to be ‘unlikely’ to join the squad for their pre-season tour as he pushes for a move to Nottingham Forest.

Manchester United are pushing ahead with their plans to sign two goalkeepers this summer after David de Gea’s contract expired last week.

According to the latest reports, United have made an improved offer for Inter Milan keeper Andre Onana as they hope to seal a deal for the Cameroon international.

Along with Onana, the club are also working on a deal for Japan keeper Zion Suzuki to become their new back-up option.

And the Manchester Evening News believe United will eventually sell Henderson to Forest but they’re just taking their time on that front… for one reason or another.

According to The Times, Henderson is unlikely to fly with United to America for their pre-season tour. He doesn’t want to spend another season on the bench at Old Trafford and it’s already clear that Ten Hag is trying to bring in his own keepers.

United will hope to get £30m for Henderson this summer.
