Louis Saha urges Manchester United to sign Bundesliga forward this summer

Louis Saha is desperate to see his former club Manchester United sign a new striker ahead of the 2023/24 season.

Erik ten Hag and his staff would have made note of the need for a prolific centre-forward when last season came to a close.

Every Manchester United fan I spoke to told me about how Harry Kane was the right fit, but none of us have to sit there and try to negotiate a deal with Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy.

Reports on Wednesday suggested Tottenham have been annoyed by Bayern going public with their interest in Kane.

Meanwhile, United’s search for a forward has been put on hold to allow the board evaluate the alternative options in the market. They already know that Kane will be available for free next summer if he really wants his switch to Old Trafford.

Former striker Saha has urged the Reds to seek Randal Kolo Muani’s signature.

Saha told Paddy Power, as per the Manchester Evening News: “In the last year, Randal Kolo Muani has really developed and during the World Cup showed his talent and that he can handle the pressure. It was really captivating to see the way he had a strong link with Kylian Mbappe.

He’s a smart lad, he’s got stamina, height and he’s really hard to defend against. Players like Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Mason Mount would all be very excited to play with a player who gives them so many options.

“He’s busy and always wants the ball. Manchester United need a player that brings more options to the team and the squad and Kolo Muani would do that.”

The France international, who plays for Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, is no stranger to the Manchester United gossip columns and we are sure Ten Hag is aware of him.

In 32 Bundesliga appearances last season, Kolo Muani scored 15 goals and registered 14 assists. Saha claims he is a busy forward which is something United need – as a constant presence inside the box, ready to feed on service from those behind.
