Diogo Dalot is putting in the work in the gym ready for Manchester United’s opening pre-season fixture.
The Portugal international will be looking to build on an impressive first season under Erik ten Hag, in which he was granted regular game time as a starter and as a substitute.
He also lifted his first trophy with the club in the form of the Carabao Cup back in February, having played a key role in the side’s progression to the final.
Dalot may still be battling with Aaron Wan-Bissaka for the permanent starting role when the 2023/2024 season kicks off but he’s certainly doing all he can in preparation for the campaign ahead.
He’ll return to Carrington in the coming days, having had a three-week break following his international duty with Portugal in June.
