Andre Onana rejects Saudi interest in hopes of sealing Manchester United move – report

Andre Onana is reportedly hoping to seal a move to Manchester United this summer.

This works well for them, as Erik ten Hag has identified the Cameroonian as his first-choice goalkeeper target.

An update from 90min this evening suggests that Onana has rebutted interest from Saudi Arabia and made his desires clear to join the 20-time English champions.

United submit opening Onana bid

United have tried to test Inter Milan’s resolve by launching a €45 million bid – judging by the latest reports from Italy, that is. If this is the case, it’s still below the Serie A club’s valuation of the ‘keeper.

Inter will demand around €50-55m to sanction Onana’s exit just one year on from his arrival at the San Siro, though they will only engage in negotiations until July 20.

Meanwhile, United welcomed Mason Mount at Carrington this week ahead of his £60m transfer, meaning their funds may have just become tighter when navigating the market for a new No.1 and a striker.
