Manchester United have been linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba.

The 24-year-old has impressed in the Bundesliga and his performances have led to interest from a number of Premier League clubs.

According to 90min, the defender is attracting attention from clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle.

United need to bring in another reliable central defender, especially with Harry Maguire set to leave the club. We even wrote about Tapsoba being a decent option for United three years ago!

The question is does Tapsoba have the potential to succeed in the Premier League? Well, there’s few people I trust more than Erik ten Hag when it comes to making that judgement. He is the manager after all.

Tapsoba has been linked with moves to Tottenham and Arsenal, too.
