Mason Greenwood has been suspended by Manchester United since January 2022, but the attacker appears to be preparing to return to life as a professional footballer.
The striker has been spotted training with a private coach – away from the club until they make a decision on his future.
According to The Sun, Greenwood has hired a private coach to put him through his paces. He worked on his close control and shooting during a 90-minute session at a public sports centre on Thursday.

United had no other choice but to suspend Greenwood after he was charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
However, all of those charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service earlier this year. That is when United decided to carry out an internal investigation into the matter.
The investigation is looking at whether Greenwood brought the club into disrepute and was in breach of his contract.
United are yet to make a decision on whether they will welcome Greenwood back to the senior squad, although he was included on their retained list.
The investigation has dragged on for some time, so the club should be close to a decision at this point.
