Several Manchester United players featured in their final matches of the season on international duty this week.
The Reds will now switch off for the summer and enjoy their holidays before returning to Carrington ready for the pre-season tour, which kicks off on July 12.
Here’s how they got on in their last games.
Alejandro Garnacho – Argentina vs Indonesia
The teenager is likely still buzzing off his landmark appearance last week when he made his debut for the reigning world champions.
He replaced Nicolas Gonzalez during the second half of La Albiceleste’s friendly as they saw out a 2-0 victory.
Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire – England vs North Macedonia
The trio of Reds were granted their home comforts, as England’s EURO qualifier took place at Old Trafford on Monday. All three United players started the game.
Luke Shaw provided an early assist to set up United-linked Harry Kane for the opener, while Marcus Rashford later added a 16th international goal to his tally in the Three Lions’ dominant 7-0 win.
Harry Maguire’s efforts led to a clean sheet, as he kept it covered and secure at the back, like you can online with Paysafe casinos.
Christian Eriksen – Denmark vs Slovenia
Christian Eriksen played the full 90 minutes for his nation as they drew 1-1 away to Slovenia. United target Rasmus Hojlund scored an equaliser for the Danes.
Victor Lindelof, Anthony Elanga and Marcel Sabitzer – Sweden vs Austria
The Iceman captained Sweden during his return to action in their Euro qualifier but sustained a 2-0 loss by the full-time whistle to Austria.
Anthony Elanga and loanee Marcel Sabitzer also featured off the bench.
Hannibal Mejbri – Tunisia vs Algeria
20-year-old Hannibal Mejbri started for his nation, who were held to a 1-1 draw.
Scott McTominay – Scotland vs Georgia
The Carrington graduate found himself on the scoresheet yet again with an emphatic 47th-minute finish to extend Scotland’s perfect qualifying record. It marked his fifth goal in four international matches.
Casemiro and Alex Telles – Brazil vs Senegal
Both Reds started on the bench as the Brazilians sustained a shock result to the reigning AFCON champions – they lost 4-2 in the friendly.
Casemiro was an unused substitute but Alex Telles came on in the 74th minute.
Diogo Dalot and Bruno Fernandes – Portugal vs Iceland
The Portuguese duo were given the nod by Roberto Martinez for the Euro 2024 qualifier. Former Red Cristiano Ronaldo secured all three points with an 89th-minute winner.
Bruno Fernandes was withdrawn in the 84th minute and will now finally get a rest. He is the only player in the world to have played over 6,000 minutes and 70 matches this season.
