Manchester United reportedly want to complete a deal for Mason Mount by the end of next week.

That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who also confirmed that personal terms are agreed between the player and the club.

The Red Devils believe that a fee of £60 – £65 million will be enough to convince Chelsea to sanction the exit of their academy graduate, despite them valuing him at £70 million.

Chelsea have rejected two offers for Mount due to the bids not being high enough but are now expected to lower their asking price due to the midfielder’s desire to make the move to Old Trafford.

Mount wants Chelsea exit

The Blues have done everything in their power to keep Mount at the club with several contract proposals, however, his heart is now seemingly set on exiting in the coming weeks.

If he was to stay, he would likely leave on a free next year when his current deal expires.
