Manchester United youngster Will Fish is reportedly close to returning to Hibernian on loan.
After spending last season at Hibernian, the centre-back clearly impressed if they want him back.
The Mail recently stated that Hibernian were trying to get Fish back for next term, but they faced competition from fellow Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen.
A new report from the Daily Record claims Hibernian are set to win the race for the 20-year-old on a temporary deal. They suggest Manchester United have ‘agreed a deal’ for Wish to return next season.
Fish will have a chance to play European football next season, should he return to Hibernian. They qualified for the Europa Conference League which will probably persuade Fish to turn down advances from Aberdeen.
It makes sense for Fish to return because he was a regular starter under Lee Johnson — starting the final 22 consecutive league games this season.
Fish is not going to get the same at United next season, so it makes perfect sense to move him on.
