Rasmus Hojlund keen on Manchester United transfer

Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund is ‘eager’ to join Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United are prioritising the search of a new striker this summer, and the club has doubts over whether they can agree terms with Tottenham over the potential transfer of Harry Kane.

The Athletic suggest Ten Hag could turn his attention to Atalanta man Hojlund, 20, who has enjoyed an impressive breakthrough season.

At 6ft 1in tall, the physical striker also comes with pace and he is already drawing comparison to Erling Haaland.

The report states Atalanta will entertain offers worth around £40 million.

It’s understood that Ten Hag has personally spoken with Hojlund via video call several weeks ago. In turn, the Dane is ‘eager’ to move to Old Trafford.

Hojlund is represented by the same agency – SEG – as Ten Hag.

  1. Why are we stalling and not just going for him. Typical Utd. Wait till the last minute and someone else comes in and gets the player.
Just make a decision for once.
