Former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre feels Manchester United should be confident going into this weekend’s FA Cup final against Premier League champions Man City.
On the basis of beating Pep Guardiola’s side already this season, Silvestre doesn’t see why we can’t believe they can do it again.
This time at Wembley.
Speaking ahead of the FA Cup final, Silvestre has claimed United should fancy their chances at winning a cup double.
Silvestre told bettingexpert.com, as cited by the Manchester Evening News: “They did beat Man City at Old Trafford and Man United can take their belief from being able to actually beat them. Man City can make mistakes if you force them to do it. They are not going to hand you the victory but they have to take advantage of the mistakes they will make.”
