Manchester United flop Alexis Sanchez could end up back in the Premier League next season.

Aged 34, it goes without saying that it could come as a surprise to see Sanchez back in the biggest league in the world, but The Sun believe it could be an option for the Chilean forward who will be out of contract in the summer.

Sanchez currently plays for Ligue 1 side Marseille but his future has been subject to transfer speculation.

The report claims Sanchez, who showed better form during his time at Arsenal than United, is keen to join a third English club in the top-flight.

Sanchez will be remembered mostly for his time at Udinese and Barcelona where he proved to be a big hit.

United paid a hefty price to learn that he was no longer an elite player in 2018. He ended up joining Inter Milan first on loan and then permanently.

We can be sure that Erik ten Hag won’t be trying to sign him!
