Confirmed Manchester United line-up to face Fulham: Maguire and Garnacho start

Erik ten Hag has named his final line-up of the Premier League season as Fulham travel to Old Trafford.

The Reds have already clinched a place in the top four, which means Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side have to settle for Europa League football next season, but Ten Hag will demand that his players push for third place to ensure the strongest possible finish to our league campaign.

Ten Hag has made six changes to his team from last week – most notably in defence – with Harry Maguire starting alongside Victor Lindelof at centre-back ahead of first choice goalkeeper David de Gea. There are also changes in the full-back positions as Diogo Dalot and Tyrell Malacia come into the team.

Casemiro will provide protection for that back four, while Fred and Bruno Fernandes will be tasked with pulling the strings in midfield.

With Antony injured, Jadon Sancho starts on the right. Alejandro Garnacho will occupy the left flank while Marcus Rashford takes a more central position. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if our front three interchanged throughout the game and it may be the manager’s plan to start Rashford centrally against City in the FA Cup final.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Dalot, Maguire, Lindelof, Malacia; Casemiro, Fred, Fernandes; Sancho, Rashford, Garnacho.
