Manchester United’s season in the Premier League is over and Erik ten Hag’s men have sealed a third-place finish in the Dutchman’s maiden campaign in England.

It has been an impressive year for Ten Hag and the latest triumph came by way of a turnaround victory against Fulham, having gone behind early in the first half.

Fulham then had the chance to double their lead with a penalty but David de Gea expertly stopped Aleksandr Mitrovic’s effort, making the Serbian forward the first Premier League player to miss four penalties in one season.

Jadon Sancho then equalised roughly five minutes before half-time, with Bruno Fernandes scoring the winner after the interval following a lovely pass from Fred.
