Erik ten Hag is going all-out for a win this evening in a game where Manchester United need just one point to secure Champions League qualification.
The Dutchman has named an unchanged starting line-up from last week’s 1-0 win over Bournemouth, so hopefully, the Red Devils can pick up another victory and clean sheet at Old Trafford.
United have tasted defeat just once on home turf in the Premier League this season, which came on the opening day of the campaign, and ahead of their penultimate league fixture, they’ll hope to extend that streak to the final day.
Ten Hag outlined what he wanted to see from his players before the 8pm kick-off: “We are in a really good position but now, we have to get the job done. So focus on this game, go on the front foot, enjoy the fans of course, but we have to show winning attitude and go for it.”
Regarding Chelsea, he added: “They have high potential. It’s a group of players – very good, outstanding. But it’s not about them, it’s about us. We have to make it our game and we have to play to our levels, but it has to be high levels because they have good players.”
"It's a really positive vibe at Carrington!" 🤩
