Manchester United kept their hopes alive for a top four finish with a 2-0 win over Wolves at old Trafford on Saturday.
Anthony Martial scored the opener before Alejandro Garnacho doubled United’s lead in stoppage time.
United midfielder Christian Eriksen spoke to the official website after the game and highlighted the importance of winning all the remaining home games.
“It’s definitely something that we need to do, first of all, finish the season strong with a perfect home record,” Eriksen said.
“But in the end, of course, for next season, we need to be as good as at home, but also away. And then it’s going to be a fun season. We know where we can pick up extra points, because at home, at the moment we’re feeling very, very secure.
“Of course, when you lose two games, the extra pressure is on. But we’ve shown the character and the quality to be where we are. We’re just going to focus on us. For us, it has to be three wins in the last three games.”
Eriksen had a long spell out with an injury, but the Dane has still played a lot of football (49 matches for club and a World Cup) this season.
Erik ten Hag’s side need six points from three matches to secure a place in the Champions League next season.
