Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will return to Old Trafford on Saturday to support United against Wolves

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be in attendance at Manchester United’s home match against Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon.

That’s according to journalist Fredrik A. Filtvedt, who attended the Noweigan’s event on Friday evening in Manchester with supporters.

It will be Solskjaer’s first time back at the Theatre of Dreams since he was manager of the club and he’ll undoubtedly be met with a warm welcome from the United faithful, who will forever be thankful for the remarkable successes and glory he contributed to.

Solskjaer’s chants still ring around the stadium frequently, so fans will be in full voice knowing the club legend is present today.

Solskjaer’s tenure

He’s yet to return to management since being relieved of his duties in M16 but he’s bound to find a suitable club in the near future.

Despite the bleak ending to his tenure, Solskjaer provided some emphatic moments as the boss, including that night in Paris when the Reds came back against all odds to progress in the Champions League, knocking out Paris Saint-Germain in their own stadium, the 9-0 over Southampton, doing the double over Manchester City and so many more.

He even set a new record in the English Football League for the longest unbeaten away record (29 games).

Given our form on the road this season, he may want to have a word with Erik ten Hag about how to kick the lads into gear away from their home comforts!
